Md. Farhan Shahriar is a highly accomplished development and business professional with over 15 years of experience in project management, private sector development and engagement, public-private partnerships, market systems development, value chain management, supply chain management, and enterprise development for sustainable development outcomes.

With a strong focus on international development, he has worked with UN agencies, Fortune 500 companies, INGOs, social enterprises, and multinational corporations, successfully managing projects valued at over $180 million. Prior to entering the development sector in 2015, he worked in the private sector in Bangladesh for more than three years.

Farhan is a versatile senior mid-level manager with expertise in Public & Private Sector Development and Engagement, Public Policy Analysis, Advocacy, Legal & Regulatory Reform, ESG & Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Value Chain Management, Project Management, Inclusive Business, Social Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development, Market Systems Development (MSD/M4P), SOP & Policy Design and Development, Business Process Re-engineering, e-Governance, Training Design & Delivery, Report Writing, and Work Plan Development.

He also earned an MBA in Marketing & Quantitative Business Analysis from Jahangirnagar University, a MiniMasters in Global Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University, and a BBA in Accounting & Finance from American International University-Bangladesh.

He is also a certified professional with globally recognized qualifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from Project Management Institute, an International Diploma in Supply Chain Management from ITC-UNCTAD/WTO, a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Health Procurement & Supply Chain Management from Kent State University, and the Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA) certification from International Supply Chain Education Alliance.
